One of the most beautiful and historic states of Southern India’s Malabar coast, covers nearly 600kms of the Arabian shoreline. The state was formed on 01^st Nov’1956. The official language of the state is Malyalam though English is the second largest spoken language in the state and has the highest literacy rate. The state is known for many vast greenery and fresh air around, wildlife sanctuaries, tea, coffee and spice plantations worldwide. Known as the Tropical Paradise of Southern India, the beauty of the state is increased by the palm lined beaches, backwaters and network of canals and waterfalls.
